Over the past 18 months, we have been investing in every aspect of our infrastructure to provide our customers with an even more enjoyable travel experience. From a renewed fleet, strengthened docking facilities, upgraded parking facilities, renovated buildings, expanded marshalling yards and system upgrades, we are focused on modernizing and strengthening every aspect of our service.
If you have travelled with us over the past couple of years, you probably noticed the amount of construction work taking place at our terminal properties. This will continue again this summer as site work will commence on our new terminal building in North Sydney, with phase two upgrades to begin at our Port aux Basques terminal building in September. We are also moving forward with a new docking infrastructure project in Argentia. Millions of dollars are being invested to provide a modern, efficient and strengthened travel experience for our customers.
For customers travelling with us over the next few months, there will be a number of contractors working at various locations throughout our terminal properties. While our project plans have been designed to minimize any impact on our operations, we ask for your assistance during this period of increased activity. Please familiarize yourself with posted signage and avoid construction areas.
The investments we are making today will enhance our service for years to come. We look forward to completing these ongoing projects and sharing these upgraded facilities directly with you in the very near future.
Did You Know: The new terminal building in North Sydney will be constructed at a location on the opposite side of the marshalling yard from the existing terminal building, adjacent to downtown businesses. The new building will be modern, efficient, environmentally friendly, and offer new amenities such as a commercial driver seating lounge area. It will also offer customers closer access to North Sydney business amenities.
